Mr. Kenneth A. Green, 69, of Homer, passed away on Sunday May 1, 2016 at University Hospital, Syracuse, N.Y. Born February 20, 1947 in Welch, West Virginia, Kenneth was a resident of the Cortland-Homer area for many years. Ken faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force and was formerly employed and had retired from Smith-Corona in Cortland. He is survived by his wife Kitty Gridley Green at home and two daughters; Kellie Green of Homer and Kimberly Green (Alfred Poon) of Boston, Mass; two brothers; Ralph Marshall Green of Alabama and James Thomas Green of West Virginia; and a granddaughter; Katherine Poon of Boston. Services will be conducted on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. from the Chapel of Riccardi Funeral Home 69 N. Main St., Cortland with Pastor Chuck Smith officiating. Prayers of committal will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, Homer, N.Y. The family will be present to receive friends on Friday from 5-7p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
